I am Gillian, a DC based artist.  I always had a passion for creating art in various forms from abstract to Illustration work. I am a person who is very curious about my environment and find inspiration from the beauty and weirdness of nature. I like to create abstract art through found materials. I love finding everyday objects and arranging them in a way that creates a vibrant and beautiful piece. When working on illustrations, I draw inspiration from the environment around me and the animals that hold a special place in our hearts.

Outside of my art, I work as a graphic designer in the digital advertising industry. I share my home with a dog named Pretzel and a cat named Lily.
